Private users can book for themselves or for someone else.
 

Book for yourself

  • Choose between a one-way transfer or a booking by the hour.
  • Enter your pickup and dropoff addresses.
    Note: You can also search for keywords such as “JFK” or “Grand Hyatt New York” and select the location from the drop-down list.
    For airport pickups, please enter the airport without specifying the terminal. We track flights to ensure your chauffeur waits at the right terminal, even with unexpected changes in the flight schedule. 
  • Enter the date and pickup time. They will always be the local time of the city you are booking your ride in.
  • Click “Search”.
  • Select your desired service class.
  • For any airport pickup or dropoff please enter your flight number (e.g. SQ327 for Singapore Airlines flight 327). This allows us to track changes in your flight status and adjust the pickup time accordingly.
  • You can enter your rewards program details to earn rewards for this ride. If you have saved a rewards program in your profile, it will automatically be preselected. 
  • The pickup sign text is set to your name as default., but you can change the text to whatever you require (e.g. your company’s name).
  • You can enter a reference code or cost center in the corresponding field which will then be shown on your invoice (single and/or monthly).
  • Enter any notes for the chauffeur in the special request field (e.g. if you require a child/baby/booster seat or are traveling with an assistive device).
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Select the payment method you want to use for this ride. If you haven’t added a payment method yet, you can do so by selecting “Add new credit card”.
  • Check the details of the ride to make sure everything is correct.
  • Click “Book now”. You will receive your booking confirmation email shortly.

 

Book for someone else

  • Enter the date and pickup time. They will always be the local time of the city you are booking your ride in.
  • Click “Search”.
  • Select your desired service class.
  • For any airport pickup or dropoff please enter the flight number (e.g. SQ327 for Singapore Airlines flight 327). This allows us to track changes in the flight’s status, and adjust the pickup time accordingly.
  • If the guest is a member of a rewards program, you may enter their rewards program details for them to earn rewards for this ride. The name of the guest must match the rewards membership name.
  • Enter any notes for the chauffeur in the special request field (e.g. if a child seat is required or the guest is traveling with an assistive device).
  • You can enter a reference code or cost center in the corresponding field which will then be shown on your invoice (single and/or monthly).
  • Click on “Do you want to book for someone else?”.
  • Enter the guest’s contact information. It is important to enter the email address and phone number of the person who will be taking the ride so they recieve ride status updates and the chauffeur’s contact information. If you do not know the email address, please enter your own, however the guest’s mobile phone number is mandatory. In case of any onsite irregularities, Blacklane will try to contact the guest with this number. 
  • The pickup sign text will be the guest’s name as default. However, you can change the text to any text that suits your need, e.g. a company name.
  • Click “Continue”.
  • Select the payment method you want to use for this ride. If you haven’t added a payment method yet, you can do so by clicking on “Add new credit card”.
  • Check the details of the ride to make sure everything is correct.
  • Click “Book now” to place your booking. You will receive your booking confirmation email shortly.
