Blacklane offers complimentary flight tracking on all airport pick-up services. Because our booking system connects with a professional flight tracking database, we ask for your airline code and flight number when you book an airport pick-up or drop-off.
IATA Codes
IATA airline codes are a 2 number or letter sequence that designates a specific airline. They can usually be found on your ticket next to the flight number. In order for the system to recognize your flight number, the formatting must be relatively precise
Some of these codes are less obvious than others. Below is a list of the airlines codes we see our guests use most often:

Private Flights
Private flights, with the exception of certain semi-private carriers like JSX, aren't included in standard airline databases and can't be tracked the same way.
If you're arriving on a private flight, please include the following information in the "Note for the chauffeur" section of your booking:
Name of the handling agent
Contact number of the handling agent
Tail number of the plane
Sharing this information allows your chauffeur to track your plane and, if needed, get real-time updates on your arrival directly from the handling agent.
