How can I make changes to my booking?

Did you know that the fastest and easiest way to place, edit, or cancel your booking is in our easy to use website or smartphone app?  This enables you to be sure all the details are confirmed right away for the best available price. The same process applies whether you need to change a pick-up time or address, or simply adjust the guest's phone number. 

Before editing your ride

Please keep in mind:

  • we track your flight arrival time and automatically adjust your pickup time to ensure your chauffeur is waiting for you when you arrive. This means you don’t have to change your booking in case of a flight delay. Even though you won't necessarily see a change of pickup time on your end, rest assured that your chauffeur has automatically been notified of the change in your arrival time.

If you have a Complimentary ride with Emirates or Silversea, please note the following:

  • Emirates: To change your ride you would need to contact the airline first through this link. Blacklane will then receive a notification and action the change.

  • Silversea: If you wish to make any changes to your ride, first cancel it and then rebook using the link you received in Silversea email communication. More details here.

How to edit via the website

  • Once you sign in, click on your profile and select “Rides”.

  • Select the ride that you would like to change and click "Edit booking". (If the button is not visible it is because the ride is no longer editable. Please check our booking change policy at the end of this article.)

  • Click the pen icon in the corresponding section you want to make changes to.

  • After you make your changes, Click “Save” to apply the changes, or “Cancel” to discard the changes.

Edits in the app

  • On the home screen, tap on the ride you want to change. Alternatively, tap “Rides” in the bottom menu and tap the upcoming ride you want to change.

  • Select the ride you would like to edit to open the ride details page

    • On Android: Tap the pen icon in the corresponding section you want to make changes to.

    • On iOS: Tap the “Change” button in the corresponding section.

When can changes be made?

  • up to 60 minutes before the pickup time

What changes can be made?

  • service class

  • ride date and time

  • pickup and dropoff locations

  • flight number

  • additional information in the "Notes to the chauffeur" field

  • pickup sign

Click here if you wish to make a stop along the way during a one way transfer.

By-the-hour bookings come with 20km included per hour. For example, a two-hour

booking comes with 40km included, a three-hour booking comes with 60km, and so on.

Spontaneous changes in destination or additional stops may incur additional charges for one-way transfers, as may exceeding the distance included with a by-the-hour booking.
