How do I add a promo code?

How to use a discount code

Updated this week

You can add a promo code during the booking process, either by applying a pre-loaded Promotion (only available to certain users at this time) or by inserting a promo code.

*Please note that it is not possible to apply or add a promo code to a ride that has already taken place.

Apply a promotion or add a code

You can apply a Promotion at 2 different stages of the booking process. If you have a code, you'll be able to add it only at the last step of the process.

Via the Blacklane website

Selecting the promotion during the booking process

  • Before selecting the Service class vehicle, click on the "Promotions" arrow

  • Select from your available Promotions the one that you would like to use

  • Press continue to move further with the booking process

Adding a promo code at the final booking step

  • Complete the booking steps until final ride overview page of the booking

  • Enter your voucher code and click “Apply promotion”.

Via the Blacklane app

Selecting the promotion before the booking process

  • Go to the "Account" tab

  • Select "Promotions"

  • Tap on the active Promotion you would like to use

  • Select "Use voucher"

  • You are all set! Your discount will be reflected at checkout

Selecting the Promotion or adding a code during the booking process

  • Before selecting the Service class vehicle, tap on "Add promotion"

  • Tap on the active Promotion you would like to use or select "Add promotion code" and add it if you have one

  • You can always remove a Promotion by tapping on the "x"

  • Alternatively you can add a Promotion code in the last step of the booking process

  • Before scheduling the ride, tap on "Add promotion"

Can I use my promotion code anywhere in the world?

Absolutely! You can use your Blacklane discount in any of the cities where Blacklane operates. Please keep in mind that your Blacklane voucher is valid for pre-booked services but not for Chauffeur-hailing rides.
